| AliaTerra began in 1986 with a passion for dance. Based first in New York City and then in Paris, I worked for five years as a dance photographer and critic, publishing in The New York Times, The Village Voice, New York Newsday, DanceMagazine, The Advocate, and many other magazines and newspapers. |

| In 1991, tired of always being outside, critizing art after it was made, I moved to Hollywood to be involved with projects from the beginning. I quickly became an Assistant Director, organizing and problem-solving under pressure, working closely with directors and cinematographers. Unfortunately, Hollywood is much more about making money than movies, and so, after 3 years of moviemaking, I turned to computers. |
Not that AliaTerra is all work. Or rather, I can always find ways to bring play into the picture.
